Bert Schipper, drumsTwelve years young Bert was already performing on stage. This was the beginning of a musical journey along many music styles and various bands. From heavy metal to progressive rock. From alternative rock to playing covers. Thanks to this journey Bert has a various musical knowledge. This makes him a versatile drummer who is at home in several musical styles. Besides playing in Edo's band, Bert occasionally plays in other bands en music projects, from childrens theatre to soulmusic. In recent years Bert recorded cd's with 'Level Eye' (Rock), 'B-3' (Soul/Jazz) and the 'Wouter Bekkering Quartet' (Jazz/Latin).

Koppe Koppeschaar (Arnhem, 1975)

Koppe Koppeschaar, guitar During his youth Koppe and his brother Sanne got to know the music of ‘Little Feat’, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, ‘The Band’ en ‘The Allman Brothers’. Inspired by this music he and Sanne started to play guitar together. A couple of years ago they started with Martijn van Veldhuizen the band ‘The Starcrossed and Easy’. A ‘southern’ country-rock formatie that has gigs regularly. Besides that Koppe co-operated in 2007 with ‘Professor Nomad’ in country-sessions in Amsterdam ‘Warehouse Wilhelmina’, under the leadership of Bartel Bartels and Stephan van der Meijden and in co-operation with BJ Baartmans. He also plays with ‘van Houten en de Beus’, consisting of singers Jelka van Houten and Anna de Beus. They sing a various repertoire of country songs, acousticly accompanied by Koppe en Sanne.

Sanne Koppeschaar (Arnhem, 1979)

Sanne Koppeschaar, guitar At the moment Sanne attends an education for audio technicus at the SAE Technology Institute. The musical basis that he and his brother Koppe share gave the inspiration for their own band ‘The Starcrossed and Easy’, in which Sanne plays the drums. Sanne learned himself to play the guitar by playing along with records and playing music with his brother. Playing intensively in the living room and at stage with ‘van Houten en de Beus’ made the brothers more and more anticipated to each other. Since 2007 Sanne and Koppe play in Edo’s band.

Daan Baars (Limmen, 1963)

Daan Baars, bass About 23 years ago he picked up a bass guitar and was sold immediately. Since that day Daan played in many bands, contributed to several CD recording projects and for the last seven years plays German music in ‘Die Darmstädter Hübsch’. Besides beautiful bass lines he also builts instruments and websites. Autodidact in everything he calls himself, with the device ‘Doing is learning ’. He played everything between tango and techno, from schlagers to powerrock. A grab of the bands of his musical past: ‘Rabbit Stampede’, ‘Straight Time’, ‘Zilch’, ‘Roscoe’, ‘Silly Walks’, ‘Southern Lights’.

Anna de Beus (Houston, 1979)

Born in Texas but grown up in the Netherlands some feeling was still lingering for the music of the southern states of America. Since she was very young Anna is a devotee of country/ folk and Americana. Studying at the Dutch Film and TV Academie she became acquainted with Jelka van Houten and together with Jelka she performed as a background singer at different bands as ‘Prof. Nomad’ under the leadership of Bartel Bartels and Stephan van der Meijden and ‘de Poema’s’. In the beginning of 2007 ‘Van Houten & De Beus’ started, in which Anna and Jelka sing countrysongs, accompanied by Koppe and Sanne Koppeschaar.
